Okay, I know catalog ads aren’t exactly a groundbreaking secret. But here’s the thing — we’ve cracked the code to make them work profitably with Cost Caps.

Catalog + Cost cap performance
Here’s the process we followed to scale them like a pro:
Step 1: Find Your Winning Catalog Combination
Start a testing campaign and test different variables like:
Audiences
Product Sets
Offers
💡 Pro tip: This only works when all the fundamentals (winning audience, catalog, and offer) are solid.
Step 2: Nail the Right Cost Cap
Look at your last 7–14 days of data and note down your CAC. For us, it was ₹350.
Set up a Cost Cap Campaign using an ABO structure with multiple ad sets.
Here’s what it looked like:
Ad Set 1: ₹300
Ad Set 2: ₹310
Ad Set 3: ₹320 …and so on, increasing by ₹10 up to ₹400.
💡 Let each ad set spend at least 2x your CPA. Then, kill the non-performers.
Step 3: Scale the Winning Cost Caps
If an ad set isn’t spending, pause it.
For the ones that perform, you can either Incrementally increase their budgets OR duplicate the winners into a CBO campaign for scaling.
